Tonning and body weight resistance session to condition, increase muscle definition and strength. We will focus on the core area: abs, obliques, back, etc., with a mix of body weight and equipment based exercises.

We have mats you can use, and dumbbells, but feel free to bring your own as the ones in the studio are pretty low weight.

Please come 5-10 mins earlier if it's your first time to fill in the registration form.

Follow the directions to get to the studio. We're at the back of the Pithay Studios. Walk through the cafe, then follow the arrows all the way to the end. If you come in late, press the buzzer and wait for a break in music so we can hear you and let you in. Keep buzzing and be patient!

Plenty of water and a towel, we do get sweaty!

These are 6 week courses in various dance types. Courses have small group numbers so you can get maximum attention from the course instructor.
Offering professional yet friendly cabaret themed dance classes & workshops in many styles, including: Burlesque, Can-Can, Charleston, Fan Dance, 60’s go go dancing and Showgirl. The Academy welcomes ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes and no previous dance experience is required to take part in the courses and workshops. The emphasis of the courses and workshops is based on fun, whilst getting fit, making new friends and of course learning how to dance like a true showgirl! International rhythms to have fun while exercising. Ditch the work out!

A friendly environment, the Thursday class is attended by Intermediate/advanced participants mainly, but it is open to all. Just keep in mind there is less teaching and more dancing than on the other classes!

Low lighting, disco lights, lots of mirrors and an awesome group energy so contagious you will let yourself loose after 5 mins dancing, really enjoying the music and the new moves you'll be learning.

Please come 5-10 mins earlier if it's your first time to fill in the registration form.

Follow the directions to get to the studio. You'll need to get in through the café, back doors and follow the arrows for Zumba. If you come in after the class has started, you can still join us. Just press the buzzer and be patient, we will let you in on the first music break between tracks.

Beginners class at 7 followed by an intermediate class at 8. Intermediate class is suitable for anyone that already has a couple of years of experience. Classes include technique work alongside learning new dances. It is best to wear a strong shoe (or boot) with a low square heel. Attendance to either course is secured with a 6 week booking.

That dream of dancing for top artists has come true... this is what my class is all about.

With an industry professional you’ll go through basic and intermediate commercial techniques used in the business in combination with professional routines and steered by our pro who will get you dancing for camera in no time.

Acroyoga flows, pops, whips and general nonsense awaits if you choose to join us.

Not suitable for beginners. This class is designed for those already with an active practice in either Acro, Acroyoga or whom have competent body awareness. (Any questions: email me!!)

You will start with 10-15mins of targeted yoga to warm up, then 1 or 2 skills based exercises for integration and orientation, the session will then lead on to Interesting washing machines, flows and sequences with the intention that you practice them (with a spot) in your own time between sessions.

Combine balance strength and flexibility in specialised weekly classes. Open to all levels we will cover a range of techniques to keep fit and tone your body. Perfect for a base or complimentary training to other circus arts, dance and sports. This intensive course invites you to get fit, discover what your body and really do and have fun.

During these classes you will spend one session per week with an experienced teacher safely covering everything from splits to bridges. Whilst not only allowing you to bend and create new shapes these classes improve stability, core and overall toning of the body by using passive and active stretches. Hands on instruction will ensure proper alignment and safety during classes as well as working in pair or groups, although no partner is required to attend the class.
